About the Role:
North Western Property Maintenance is seeking a Shop Helper / Yard Coordinator to maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard environment. This role supports the operations team by ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and maintained. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and holds a high standard for cleanliness and order.
North Western Property Maintenance is seeking a Shop Helper / Yard Coordinator to maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard environment. This role supports the operations team by ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and maintained. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and holds a high standard for cleanliness and order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep and maintain all shop and yard areas
- Organize tools, ladders, and materials to standard
- Operate forklift and F350 truck as required
- Restock cleaning stations and work areas
- Support new hire onboarding setup and daily checklists
- Follow NWPM’s 3S system: Sort, Sweep, Standardize
Requirements:
- Valid BC driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience driving an F350 or similar vehicle
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and physically fit
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments year-round
